The Rodwell Trail
WW2 Anti-aircraft gun emplacement
The Rodwell Trail passes a refurbished WW2 Anti Aircraft gun emplacement with seats. This was opened in April 2007. If walking towards Westham Halt it is neccesary to ensure you follow the tarmac path down to the left and carefully cross Newstead Road by the traffic islands and follow the Brown Signs heading up the tarmac path to resume the Rodwell Trail.
