A.J.KENNEDY - FRESH FISH SHOPS
In the left hand window of Kennedy's 64 / 66 Deptford High Street shop was a selection of unusual items on display, amongst them was an old photograph of an A.J. Kennedy Fresh Fish shop. The shop has a street number 182 and also promotes a 297 New Cross Road and at what looks like ? 94 Hither Green Lane. It is thought that the left side of 64 / 66 Deptford High Street was a Kennedy Fish Shop, so which shop is shown in this photo?. There were also Kennedy's fish shops at 128 Rye Lane, Peckham and at Bromley. The Please note the cute little brown Teddy Bear who features on this website in more of my Kennedy's Deptford shop photos, even appearing inside the shop after closure!!
