Why ALISON? - All about me and my crossdressing - Please scroll down for more photos

Please let me introduce myself.
I am Alison aka Alan. I was 81 on 21st February 2024 and really do wish that I had openly got into cross dressing much earlier in my life.
My first memories of cross dressing were about 40 or so years ago in the 1970's. Although I can recall way back to my childhood when I was the younger of my parents two children (both boys) that my Mother had often stated in conversations with others that she really wished she had a girl, maybe I should have been a girl.

My Wife Wendy (bless her) is very understanding about my crossdressing and encourages me to do so because we both know how frustrated and irritable I can get when I haven't been Alison for quite a while. Wendy is very happy to take photos of me dressed as Alison. I have never had to do it without her knowing. I have never worn any of my Wife's clothes or footwear (Wendy's clothes wouldn't have fitted me anyway and her foot size is a UK size 6 and I am a UK size 9 or10 anyway!) I have always bought my own female clothes and footwear. I do feel so much more at ease and relaxed and the day to day stresses of life fade away when I am Alison.

Why Alison?
By still using my male initials  A.C E. My first name uses the first two letters and the last letter of my first name. The C is the first letter of my favourite Bratz doll named Chloe. I had collection of Bratz fashion dolls, many of them wore boots. They have all passed on to other collectors but I do still have just two of my favourite Bratz dolls including Chloe.
The E the first letter of my surname is for Elliott which is the name of a 1970's company with shops in London selling leather boots and clothing. Their poster for black leather knee high boots and a black leather shirt won a prize in an advertising competition in 1974 and was so popular that they produced smaller card posters, I still have my copy which they sent to me when I requested a copy of the poster which appeared all over London on Underground stations and bus shelters.

In the past I have performed waitress duties at parties in the 1990's held locally for the elderly where Wendy was the Warden of sheltered accomodation for the elderly. I wore a typical waitress outfit, including a Steiner blonde wig, white apron, black mini skirt and black suspender belt and black stockings. Sadly the wig and the outfit was purged during a sad period of my life when I got rid of a whole collection of lovely outfits. Strangely enough I did keep the knee high boots.
I also took part in a charity event with the theme of Schooldays in the office at my place of work just before Christmas, I won second prize for my efforts as a schoolgirl. This was also in the 1990's.

My favourite outfits are a black mini skirt, or red Tartan mini kilt, barely black hold ups and Gabor black leather knee high boots, sometimes black patent shoes. I often wear black PU ladies trousers size 14 TU by Sainsburys, or black faux leather leggings. But knee high black boots are my all time favourite style of footwear. I was so lucky last year when browsing in a charity (thrift) shop and saw a lovely pair of Gabor black leather knee high boots, made in Portugal, they were a UK size 9, I asked the young lady shop assistant if I could try them on, I went into a changing cubicle and they slipped on so easily, they zipped up perfectly, I felt like Cinderella when I realised that they were a perfect fit. They are my all time favourite boots, they are made from soft black leather and had been well kept and looked after by their previous owner, The soles and heels are hardly marked and not worn down at all.
I am now much more confident in how I present myself, I now sometimes wear a short bob wig when I CD but I have quite a job getting it to look how I want it to look and it takes me so long getting dressed that I more often than not don't bother to wear the wig. I think a lot of this is down to my OCD where everything has to be completely right.
Well that is quite a lot of snippets all about me, please scroll down for a selection of photos including photos of Alison at Eastbourne and at the Crawley and Croydon Pride events

WHY I CHOSE THE NAME ALISON CHLOE ELLIOTT

I chose the name Alison Chloe Elliott because these names represent my initials. The name Alison uses the first two letters and the last letter of my Christian name,

Chloe was the name of my favourite Bratz doll. I still have the Chloe Bratz sitting doll on the left.

Elliott was the name of a company that made some very superb leather boots and clothing way back in the swinging 1970's and won an award for their poster in 1974.
